The Sargent-Welch GRANT-MATCH Program benefits schools and their students by boosting other grant or award funding your school receives from other sources to be used for the purchase of science laboratory materials and equipment!

Sargent-Welch initiated this program to assist science instructors that are inspired and motivated to improve science education in his/her school. When your school receives special grant or award funding that will be used for the purchase of science laboratory materials and equipment, your school may apply for the

Sargent-Welch Grant-Match (Sargent-Welch Canada Grant-Match). The simple application (Canadian application) takes minutes to complete and is available from the Sargent-Welch website

The program assists your school in a variety of ways:

• Boosts your grant and award funding
• Allows for the receipt of MORE science materials and equipment for your school.
• Saves tax and/or shipping charges on the Grant-Match items.
• Fulfills requirements of many grants for “local in-kind” support required by many grants.

Sargent-Welch Grant-Match Awards are based on grant funding from other sources to be used for supplies and equipment when ordering materials through Sargent-Welch. This program may significantly increase your effective purchasing power when using grant funding!
