Also, the Scout Pro is the only portable balance with an optional USB or RS232 interface for data acquisition using Vernier LoggerPro software. This connectivity allows you to collect mass vs. time data from the balance alone or simultaneously with other sensors. A transportation lock for safe storage and portability is included along with a menu calibration lock. Scout Pro balances are powered by the included AC adapter or four AA batteries, not included.
