Students germinate squash and marigold plants and place them in a controlled vehicle emission environment saturated with a common pollutant, sulfur dioxide. Plant growth is monitored and results are recorded. Includes a special “glove bag” used as the environmental chamber and all other materials needed for a classroom demonstration.
