Durable Pyroceram top is highly resistant to chemical attack, corrosion, or scratches and is easy to clean. The flat surface aids in faster, more uniformed heating. A safety light warns when the top is too hot to touch; 5 x 7 and 10 x 10 models have digital display for heat and stirring (on hotplate/stirrers only). Housing protects electronics and control knobs from spills. Microprocessor provides superb heating control to ensure consistency. Temperature range is 40 to 550°C. Temp. control: ±1°C. Stirring models also feature a separate control to monitor and regulate stirring speed. Motor strength adjusts to meet your requirements whether stirring an aqueous, viscous or semi-solid solution. Speeds range from 60 to 1200 rpm. All models include stir bar, instructions and a guide for heating and stirring. UL and CSA approved.
