Soda Geyser Demonstration
Candy, soda, and science combine for dramatic demonstration that your students are guaranteed to remember. The chemistry of nucleation sites is easily explained and spectacularly shown when Lifesavers® or Mentos™ candies are dropped by clever releasing devices into a bottle of carbonated beverage. An innovative device designed by teacher, Al Guenther, releases the candies dropping them directly to the bottom of the soda bottle, creating a giant blast of soda fountain while keeping you safely away from the blast. For easy clean-up, demonstration should be conducted outside. Includes two releasing devices, three cap configurators, and instructions with detailed explanations.
