Periodic Chart of the Atoms
The Sargent-Welch Periodic Chart of the Atoms is recognized throughout the world as one of the most authoritative and comprehensive periodic references. Information is sufficiently detailed to serve the most advanced college student, yet is presented so clearly that it is readily accessible to junior high and high school students as well. Six brilliant colors distinguish, separate and define symbols and periodic relationships. Atomic numbers are printed in black; atomic weights in red; and atomic symbols in black, blue or orange depending upon whether the element is a solid, liquid, or gas. Other information includes: crystal form, shells, electron configuration, isotopes, longest half-life, ionization potential, density, atomic diameter, expansivity, specific heat, boiling and melting points, atomic valence, quantum states, Young’s Modulus, magnetic properties and lowest spectral term. The heavy, plastic-laminated chart can be marked with a wet-erase pen or grease pencil and wiped clean with a damp cloth. A comprehensive, 52-page Chart of the Atoms key booklet (included) introduces students to chemical periodicity. Size: 58" x 42".
