Help Students Understand Topo Maps

Demonstrate different methods of map reading with this four-paneled, vacuum-formed contour model. The first panel shows a topographical map of the San Juan mountains and the Continental Divide; the second panel shows the same map in raised relief; the third panel is also raised relief, but is unprinted; and the fourth panel contains the legend. The kit also comes with a teacher’s guide with nine activities, vocabulary, and copymasters. Size of each panel: 12" x 12".
